First, I apologize if my English is bad. I tried to spill my feelings on this blog. It is about my beloved country. Thank's for reading.
I am an Indonesian. Already dezen of years living in Indonesia. And I really love Indo more than any other country. I know a lot of corruption here, a lot of deforestation, and the destruction of nature. I also know that in Indo there are still many poor and homeless. Many children live on the streets for a bite of rice. Health and education is still a very expensive things. I also know if a natural disaster came and went upon my country. I also know that my country does not include developed countries. Yeah, I know all that.
But, beneath it all, many positive thinga that I love from my country. I love our martial art: silat. I like to dancing our traditional dance. I like to write letters of Javanese even though I am not good at it. I really like to listening the song "Caping Gunung". I am very proud to see how a sense of nationalism is very large in Indonesian community. Suppoters of ball cheer their national team players with passion burning. You can see it at AFF competition. I love oru heroes who are willing to sacrifice their lives for a freedom. I like to see the Indonesian citizen is very friendly. I like to see our people reached out to each other when disaster shed their tears. God embraces us all with all those disasters.
No need plenty of reasons to love something. I think everyone would love their own country. It would be so pathetic if there is someone who hates his/her own country.
